Private Day Nursery on a Farm in the South Cheshire Countryside
The setting comprises of three buildings, our main building, a converted farm building and two portable buildings.
Catering for our children aged 0-3 years, the main nursery building is a two storey building, with our youngest children occupying the ground floor and older children on the first floor. The nursery offers a secure, safe immediate outdoor rubberised play area.
Our older Pre-School children and out of school club children occupy purposefully designed portable buildings, with secure free-flow opportunities to the outdoor areas, including grass playing field and sensory garden.
Staff are also able to let children have access to extensive fields and footpaths owned by us. With your agreement, children have regular visits to see and care for the nursery pets and menagerie of other animals.
The rooms are bright and airy with plenty of space for varied activities, Children are split into five age groups.
Read about our age group based rooms in the Ages and Stages page.
New Nursery Building
Apples & Pears have converted an existing cattle cubicle shed into a replacement nursery building, with part funding from European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The new nursery building benefits from lovely views over the farmland and the design incorporates open plan flexibility and improved free flow between the outdoor play space and the nursery rooms, with increased capacity for 115 children.
